Handcrafted pickup for Precision Bass, IUSO PBA54VS70s, takes inspiration from the pickups used by Fender during the 1970s, sharing characteristics such as the Plain Enamel 42 AWG wire, grey bobbins, magnet height, and the presence of a brass baseplate.
Both coils of the pickup have been coated with transparent varnish to protect the magnets from corrosion, and the plain enamel wire has been wound RWRP with manual guidance. The flatwork is made of vulcanized fiber and is laser-cut. It features Alnico 5 magnets.

I have bought this pickup for my Fender Precision bass from 1976 and it is the best choice I have made!
This pickup is really fantastic, the sound is the exact reproduction of the original Fender pickup from the 70’s but with much power, much clarity and all frequencies are perfectly well balanced. The quality and the craftmanship are at the very top of the art.
This pickup is simply the best of all the pickups I have tried until now, among other :Fender custom shop, Seymour Duncan, Lindy Fralin or Lollar. All these are great pickups BUT the IUSO are really better. Great job folks!
