The IUSO STA56SBM single coil pickup set is designed to deliver a clear, dynamic, and detailed tone, drawing constructional inspiration from the classic pickups found on 1960s Gibson® Melody Maker guitars. Unlike traditional staggered-pole pickups, each coil uses a single Alnico 5 magnetic bar running the full length of the pickup, ensuring even string response and a tight, focused tone.

Each position is wound with different gauges of Plain Enamel wire to achieve optimal tonal balance: the neck pickup offers a soft, airy tone ideal for expressive clean playing; the middle pickup, wound with thinner wire for higher output, emphasizes the midrange slightly more, ensuring clarity and presence; and the bridge pickup delivers aggressive attack and strong projection — perfect for leads and driven rhythms.

Built with vulcanized fiber flatwork, fully wax-potted, and protected with wrap tape, this set is engineered for durability and feedback resistance, even at high volumes. These pickups are designed to be used without covers, enhancing dynamic response and offering a raw, vintage aesthetic.
